Of her 23 years working in the grassroots Women's Union, 15 years have been the Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Quynh Thach Commune. With her responsibilities, she always innovates her working style, puts forward good ideas on all movements and different fields, suitable to the reality at the grassroots level so that the branches can implement them effectively.

She is always exemplary, upholding the spirit of solidarity, mutual love and mutual assistance with members to help each other improve in life. Every year, she organizes for cadres and members to register to follow Uncle Ho in conjunction with assigned tasks. From there, based on the members' registration, the year-end competition is evaluated and ranked.

In all the movements, Ms. Thuong has flexible ways of doing things, bringing many practical results. The most prominent is the movement "Rice jar, savings tube", which has raised over 117 million VND, 951 kg of rice, helping 106 member households with especially difficult circumstances in life. Thanks to that, it has created a vibrant emulation movement, making cadres and members more deeply and fully aware of the basic contents, great values ​​of Uncle Ho's thoughts, style and example. At the same time, it raises the awareness of thrift and responsibility of wives, mothers, cadres and members in taking care of family life.

To effectively implement the campaign "Building a warm home" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, in addition to calling on her members, Ms. Thuong has proactively and directly mobilized businesses to support the fund. She researched on television and newspapers to approach and contact local charity programs to help families in difficult circumstances. Thanks to that, in 5 years, the commune association has built 8 "Warm homes of love" with a total value of nearly 170 million VND and helped many disabled people. Ms. Thuong also led the association members to implement the program "Bowls of love porridge" for children being treated at Quynh Luu District General Hospital. After 4 years of implementation, the commune women's association has cooked nearly 21,000 bowls of love porridge.

In addition, she also established groups to help each other with capital, breeds, science and technology to develop the economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty. She also mobilized cadres and members to donate 16,000 m2 of land, dismantled nearly 2,200 m2 of surrounding walls and thousands of working days to build rural roads, build new rural areas, contributing to making Quynh Thach commune one of the first 3 communes to reach the NTM finish line of the district in 2014.

Ms. Le Thi Thuong shared: “In order for learning and following Uncle Ho to be effective, in my opinion, it must come from the heart of each person. If your heart is pure and always towards goodness, the good, and an open future, then learning from Uncle Ho is not difficult. Whatever I do, even the smallest thing, is always towards the benefit of the collective and members, so I receive the sympathy, response, and support of the sisters.”

Ms. Ho Thi Thuy Hang - Vice President of the Women's Union of Quynh Luu district said: "Ms. Thuong is a dedicated and responsible president of the women's union, constantly innovating the way of working in the branches and the leadership methods implemented in the executive committee. Thanks to that, she has always brought the movement of the Women's Union of Quynh Thach to the top of the district".
