Chairman of Vietnam Cooperative Alliance surveyed some production models in Nam Dan
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 13, a working delegation of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance led by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Bao - Chairman of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance visited and surveyed a number of high-tech production models in Nam Dan district.

After surveying some production development models in Nam Anh and Nam Tan communes, the delegation directly listened to the leaders of Nam Dan district report on the effectiveness of cooperative activities in the field of agricultural production.
Currently, Nam Dan has 51 cooperatives and credit funds along with 5 cooperative groups, creating regular jobs for more than 1,000 members. To encourage the development of the collective economy, Nam Dan has issued a support policy of 5-10 million VND when establishing new cooperatives and cooperative groups with a commitment to purchase products.
At the meeting, the leaders of Nam Dan district recommended that the Cooperative Union should direct its member units to link and connect with cooperatives producing vegetables and fruits that have been granted VietGAP standards to consume products for people; support seeds and techniques to convert the crop structure of some areas along both sides of the road to Uncle Ho's hometown to grow lotus to form cooperatives and cooperative groups to process lotus products; coordinate with the district to build a supermarket to consume safe products in Nam Dan...

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Bao highly appreciated some effective cooperative models of the district, and at the same time outlined the orientation of the leadership and direction of the Party Committee and authorities towards cooperatives, selected some effective service stages; continued to propagate and raise awareness of the rights and responsibilities of members when participating in cooperatives.
In the coming time, the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance will establish a new safe vegetable service cooperative to encourage and build production development models, forming a linked production chain, thereby connecting with member units to consume products; calling for support to build a lotus growing model, as well as helping Nam Tan commune form a cooperative to develop chain production on fertile land.
On this occasion, the delegation of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance presented 200 million VND in support to Xuan Lam commune to repair some new rural works.
