Thanh Hoa Chairman requests departments and branches to "soak" the apology file urgently

Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Xung has just sent a document to departments, branches and sectors to rectify and overcome the situation of overdue administrative procedure settlement in the whole province.

Previously, report No. 1140/BC-VPCP dated February 13, 2019 of the Government Office on the results of administrative procedure control at ministries, branches and localities in 2018. Accordingly, Thanh Hoa province had nearly 4,000 overdue records.

Faced with the above issue, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province has directed the directors of departments; heads of provincial-level branches and sectors; Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, towns and cities; Chairmen of People's Committees of communes, wards and towns to publicly apologize to the people.

Accordingly, the results of administrative procedure settlement must be fully and regularly disclosed to organizations and citizens.

Mr. Xung also requested strict handling of individuals, agencies and units that continue to allow overdue settlement.

It is known that in January 2019, Thanh Hoa Provincial Public Administration Service Center received 7,189 administrative procedure files of organizations and individuals.

Of these, 9 overdue files have been resolved; 8 overdue files are being resolved; 220 files are waiting for additional files; 197 files have been returned or withdrawn./.
