(Baonghean.vn) - From November 1, 2021 to now, the Covid-19 epidemic in the province has had many unusual developments, with 1,647 new infections, with over 100 infections recorded per day in recent days; 402 cases are F1 positive on the first test.

On the afternoon of November 26, the Provincial Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center held an online meeting with 21 districts, cities and towns to listen to and give opinions on Covid-19 prevention and control work in the coming time.

After listening to the opinions of localities and meeting participants, concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that during the time the province implemented Resolution No. 128 of the Government on "Safe and flexible adaptation, effective control of the Covid-19 epidemic", localities have basically proactively and smoothly deployed measures and responded quickly when there were F0 cases.

However, due to the complicated developments of the epidemic, when implementing Resolution No. 128, there are some differences compared to before, so the epidemic control work is more difficult. The number of infections is much higher, especially community cases, putting pressure on localities. And somewhere, at times, in some places, there has been a situation of negligence and subjectivity, especially towards the people. This is shown by the number of people who have received 2 doses of vaccine from the southern provinces and cities and are infected with Covid-19, which accounts for a very high rate (297/803 infected cases).

DEPLOYING 8 CONTENTS FOR EFFECTIVE EPIDEMIC PREVENTION AND CONTROL

To continue implementing measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in the province more effectively, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung requested localities to fully, seriously and drastically implement the epidemic prevention and control measures instructed by the Central Government and the province and the plans of the localities.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung requested the Steering Committee and the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center of districts, cities and towns to immediately deploy 8 contents.

First, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested localities to base on the actual situation, the epidemic developments in the area, the decisions and plans of the province to update plans, scenarios, in accordance with the spirit of Resolution No. 128 of the Government. Proactively implement the "4 on-site" motto, promote initiative and creativity, and not set out regulations that exceed the regulations of higher levels. Localities base on the level of risk of epidemic prevention and control to divide zones, determine the epidemic level to have appropriate epidemic prevention and control solutions.

"We must be calm, confident, proactive in handling situations, and absolutely not be negligent or subjective in disease prevention and control," emphasized comrade Nguyen Duc Trung.

Localities must continue to strengthen inspection and control of population movements, especially those returning from epidemic level 3 and 4 areas. Strengthen the role of community Covid teams and strengthen community surveillance, as in some localities this work is showing signs of laxity. Regularly inspect, monitor, and strictly manage quarantine cases, especially home quarantine.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested localities to proactively develop plans and strategies to deploy mobile medical stations to treat F0 cases; form care teams and treat infected patients in the community, especially in the coming time when the province pilots F0 treatment at home. When implementing, the province will support localities according to specific conditions.

Regarding vaccination, localities must closely coordinate with the health sector to deploy vaccination quickly, promptly and safely. Clarify the reasons why there are vaccine returns; at the same time, mobilize and convince people to ensure safety for themselves and the community.

The head of the provincial People's Committee also requested localities to strengthen inspections of activities at risk of spreading the epidemic, limit activities with large crowds. Strengthen inspections of epidemic prevention and control at agencies, units, hospitals, schools, markets, shopping centers, and public places. Pay attention to promptly implementing support policies for people; review, promulgate, and recommend the province to have measures to support forces participating in epidemic prevention and control.

Strengthen propaganda for people, strictly implement recommendations, especially 5K. The Public Security Department directs local police to strictly handle cases of violations of epidemic prevention and control. Encourage people to voluntarily go for testing to screen for Covid. In cases of abnormal symptoms, go immediately to a medical facility for instructions.

STRENGTHENING PROPAGANDA AND RAISING PEOPLE'S AWARENESS

For the health sector, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested to develop a plan to deploy a mobile health station and guide localities to form community Covid patient care teams. After receiving comments from the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, the health sector urgently instructed localities to implement temporary instructions on home quarantine of F1 cases, ensuring safety, seriousness, and effectiveness for the community.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that cases quarantined at home must ensure sufficient conditions, comply with regulations, and be closely monitored and managed. The health sector must also develop a pilot plan to treat F0 cases with no symptoms, mild symptoms, who have received two doses of vaccine, and families with conditions... at home in some localities, to report to the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control for consideration and decision in the coming time.

The health sector must also coordinate with the police and military sectors to continue to implement strict management measures for F0 treatment facilities and centralized quarantine areas; Continue to direct and work with localities to implement vaccination according to the allocation plan, to the right subjects, and to ensure safety; Propose to establish inspection teams of the Steering Committee and the Provincial Center for Covid-19 Prevention and Control to inspect localities and agencies in the implementation of epidemic prevention and control work, in order to rectify limitations and improve the effectiveness of epidemic prevention and control work in the coming time.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung also assigned tasks to departments, branches and sectors in implementing epidemic prevention and control measures. In particular, it is necessary to strengthen monitoring of population movements; ensure funding for epidemic prevention and control work; deploy and supervise epidemic prevention and control work in industrial parks and enterprises according to the motto that production must be safe, safety must be produced, when F0 cases arise, there must be an effective response scenario; determine F1 centralized isolation locations for workers; strengthen propaganda work to raise awareness and consciousness among people.

Regarding the education and training sector, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested coordination with localities to review and organize teaching and learning appropriately and flexibly according to the actual situation of each locality. Where direct learning is organized, it must ensure maximum safety for teachers and students. Propaganda for parents and students to coordinate with schools in disease prevention and control, and organize vaccination to ensure safety./.
