(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 24, comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and wished a happy new year to officers and soldiers of Hanh Dich Border Guard Station and presented gifts to a number of poor households and families in especially difficult circumstances in Que Phong district.

Also attending were Colonel Tran Van Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; representatives of the Provincial Border Guard Command, Provincial Police and a number of provincial departments and branches.
Hanh Dich Border Guard Station is assigned to manage two border communes, Hanh Dich and Nam Giai, with a border length of more than 22 km and 6 landmarks. Talking to officers and soldiers of Hanh Dich Border Guard Station, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy praised the spirit of solidarity, efforts and endeavors of Hanh Dich Border Guard Station in implementing security and defense tasks, contributing to maintaining security, order and social safety in the border area.
Emphasizing the important role in building and maintaining the people's border defense posture, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy noted that officers and soldiers of Hanh Dich Border Guard Station need to increase activities at the grassroots level, connect with the people through activities of sending officers and soldiers to participate in activities with the people, support people in economic development, support poor households and children of poor households in studying, provide primary health care for people, participate in patrolling to maintain border security and tasks assigned by the Party and State.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that units pay attention to coordinating well with forces to ensure security, social order and safety, focusing on fighting against all types of crimes, proselytizing and illegal immigration.
In the immediate future, units need to seriously carry out the task of being on combat readiness, coordinate well with forces to grasp the situation at the border and inland, advise on timely handling of security and defense issues, absolutely not to be surprised or passive in any situation; create a safe environment for people to celebrate Tet, enjoy a warm and happy Spring.
