On the afternoon of August 25, after a meeting at the Forward Command Center, comrade Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directly inspected, grasped information, analyzed and forecasted storm No. 5 at Vinh Weather Radar Station.
Vinh Weather Radar Station of the Central Hydrometeorological Station is located on Dung Quyet Mountain (Truong Vinh Ward).
The station is responsible for analyzing cloud radio feedback and cloud-related weather phenomena; Warning of dangerous weather phenomena detected by radar; Maintaining, servicing and repairing machines and equipment according to hierarchy.
The leaders of Vinh Weather Radar Station reported the developments of storm No. 5 based on the analysis of cloud radio feedback and weather phenomena related to clouds; at the same time, they made recommendations to serve the leadership, direction, and organization of the implementation of response work to storm No. 5 in Nghe An province.
After listening to the report, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh emphasized that this is a complex storm, forecasted to be strong and dangerous. Therefore, the viewpoint is not to be negligent or subjective, but to proactively respond to minimize possible damage.
