Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented flowers to encourage new recruits to join the army
(Baonghean.vn) - In the atmosphere of Military Service Day, on the morning of February 21, Nam Dan district organized the 2019 Military Service Handover Ceremony.
Attending the event were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Senior Lieutenant Colonel Thai Duc Hanh - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command.
During the 2019 military enlistment, Nam Dan district had 170 outstanding citizens enlisting. Of which, 160 new recruits were received by 5 units including: Division 324; Brigade 80; Brigade 414; Provincial Border Guard Command; Provincial Military Command; 10 new recruits were received by the Provincial Police.

These are the new recruits who have been examined and selected by the District Military Service Council from communes and towns in the district, meeting all political, cultural and health conditions, ready to join the army, completing 100% of the assigned quota.

At the ceremony, comrade Bui Dinh Long - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee lit the traditional flame; comrade Dinh Xuan Que - Chairman of the District People's Committee beat the drum to send off the troops. The Nam Dan District Military Recruitment Council and the Nam Dan District People's Committee also presented certificates of merit to 38 soldiers who had completed their service and returned.

Representing 170 new recruits leaving for the army to defend the Fatherland, new recruit Nguyen Ba Sang expressed his pride in being in the ranks of the Vietnam People's Army and the Vietnam People's Public Security and promised to constantly cultivate revolutionary ethics, train political mettle, study hard, strive, strictly abide by the laws of the State and military discipline, and strive to excellently complete assigned tasks worthy of the revolutionary tradition of the heroic homeland.

At the end of the ceremony, comrade Thai Thanh Quy and the leaders of Nam Dan district presented flowers to encourage the new recruits to promote the heroic tradition of their homeland, raise awareness of studying, training, and completing assigned tasks well, contributing to building a strong and comprehensive unit. At the same time, he hoped that after completing their military service and returning to their hometowns, the young men would make good use of the knowledge they had acquired in the military environment to contribute to building their homeland more and more prosperous.
