Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung and the delegation visited the pellet biomass fuel factory of Thanh Chuong Wood Production and Trading Joint Stock Company, located in Hamlet 6, Thanh Huong Commune.

This is a company specializing in the production of wood chips as raw materials for the production of wood pellets, built on an area of ​​5.6 hectares, with a total investment capital of phase 1 of 350 billion VND. The capacity of phase 1 of the factory is 150,000 tons/year.

Reporting to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the company's leaders said that the factory will conduct trial runs and calibrate the production line starting from February 2021 and is expected to export the first shipment to the Japanese market in July 2021.

Besides, the factory has created jobs for 120 workers, with an average income of 8.5 million/person, of which 95% are local workers in Thanh Chuong district.

In the coming time, the factory will cooperate with cooperatives and households to build a sustainable forest management model to implement the linkage chain; Organize training courses for households to implement sustainable forest planting, create a stable source of raw materials and have certificates of origin for the factory; Research and provide high-yield plant varieties and expand production scale.

After visiting and listening to the company's leader's report, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung assessed that this is a typical industrial production project of Thanh Chuong district. The project has promoted the acacia raw material area in the district, used advanced European technology, and created jobs for a large labor force in the area.

In order to create favorable conditions for project development, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Thanh Chuong district to pay attention to resolving the company's legitimate recommendations and proposals. If they are beyond their authority, they should report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and resolution.
