Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee attended the Great Solidarity Festival with people in a mountainous commune in Yen Thanh

Rang Dong Hamlet, Tay Thanh Commune (Yen Thanh) is adjacent to Giang Son Commune (Do Luong), with its main source of income coming from agricultural production. The hamlet has 238 households with nearly 900 people, including 10 inter-family groups, and the hamlet Party Cell has 16 party members.

In recent years, the movement “All people unite to build a cultural life” has developed strongly, cultural, artistic and sports activities have been maintained and developed. The rate of cultural families reached over 95%, 100% of households signed a commitment to not have anyone violating the law.

Up to now, the village roads and alleys and public welfare works have been invested in and built with a total amount of nearly 3.4 billion VND. Rang Dong Hamlet was recognized as a Cultural Village in 2009, currently has 35 rich households, 184 well-off households, the number of poor households is only 5, the average income per capita is 35.6 million VND/person/year.

The whole village unites and agrees on the policy of building a model residential area, planting 4 km of flower roads, building 3 km of drainage ditches along the roads, creating a green - clean - beautiful landscape, with a lighting system to ensure safety. The work of ensuring village security is always focused on, environmental sanitation issues, and the work of encouraging learning and talent are always regularly carried out by the people...

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented Rang Dong hamlet with a photo of “Uncle Ho with Uncle Ton” and 15 gifts to disadvantaged households in the whole commune. Departments, branches, organizations and leaders of Yen Thanh district also donated many gifts to support disadvantaged families.
