Preparing to end operations of the old market in Tan Ky town
(Baonghean) - The new Tan Ky market has been completed for more than a year, with a spacious scale, suitable for the development of trade in a civilized and modern direction. However, the market is still empty because the traders in the old market have not come to do business and trade. With unity and determination, Tan Ky district will stop operations at the old market, bringing traders to do business and trade in the new market next November.
The new market has few stalls.
May 2019,Tan Ky market inauguration, put into use, with a total investment of 177 billion VND. When put into operation, this is the market with the most civilized and modern business environment in the district today.
However, up to now, at Tan Ky market, a series of kiosks are still closed; only a few kiosks on the street front are doing business, trading, and the number of customers is not much. On the 2nd floor, most of the kiosks have signs of their owners, but are not doing business. The Market Management Board said that the kiosks with signs belong to the small traders in the old market, who are given priority; but after receiving the kiosks, they did not start doing business.

The ground floor and street area of the market, although there are some goods for sale such as clothes, shoes, sandals, school bags..., the number of customers coming in and out is not much, although the campus is spacious, very convenient for parking motorbikes and bicycles.
Ms. Ngo Thi Mai - owner of a kiosk selling shoes, sandals, school bags... in the street area said: She has been doing business and trading in this market area for 1 year now. Here, the kiosk and shop have been built spaciously, solidly, with full electricity and water, airy, clean, safe environment, no need to worry about rain or sun...
However, due to the small number of shops, they have not attracted many customers, causing slow sales. Ms. Mai's wish is that the local government will soon encourage traders in the old market area to concentrate on this new market to do business, to make it more convenient for both sellers and customers.
