Elected bodies in Nghe An deploy plans to supervise the arrangement of administrative units in 8 localities

Comrade Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation chaired the meeting; also attending were members of the Supervisory Delegation including National Assembly deputies of Nghe An province, Head of the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council; Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council; leaders of the Departments of Home Affairs and Finance.

At the working session, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Thai Thi An raised the issue of practical and effective working methods and forms at the local level, which are suitable to the actual situation in each locality; achieving the goal of reviewing and evaluating objectively, honestly and comprehensively the results of organizing the implementation of the Resolutions of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units in the period of 2019-2021. Thereby, drawing lessons from experience to propose, recommend and outline a suitable roadmap for the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units in the period of 2022-2030.

Along with that, the National Assembly Deputies, Head of the Legal Committee, and the Provincial People's Council discussed and agreed on the form of implementation of the Monitoring topic in each locality. Leaders of the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Finance provided some additional important contents and information; assessed the current situation, advantages, difficulties... related to the arrangement of administrative units deployed in localities in the province in the past time to serve the monitoring program.

According to the issued Plan, in 2021, the delegation will conduct this thematic supervision in 8 localities, including direct supervision in 04 districts: Que Phong, Nghia Dan, Nam Dan and Hung Nguyen; supervision through reports in 04 districts: Tuong Duong, Dien Chau, Thanh Chuong and Thai Hoa Town./.
