(Baonghean.vn) - According to the assessment of the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team, this is the largest pickled eggplant production facility in Vinh City. Every day, this facility sells several hundred boxes of eggplant and pickles of all kinds to the market, consumed throughout the country.

This facility is located at 72 Nguyen Chich Street, Quang Trung Ward, Vinh City. The processing area is located next to the house, with a space of less than 10 m2temporarily covered, moldy, and smelly. Photo: Thanh Chung

At the time of inspection, the facility had 2 employees producing and packaging pickled eggplant products. The facility currently has about 600 boxes of pickled eggplant, pickled shallots, pickled onions, and pickled royal vegetables (each box weighs 1 kg) ready to be released to the market. Every day he buys about 100 kg of eggplant from Vinh market for production; sells about a few hundred boxes of eggplant. Working with the interdisciplinary inspection team, Mr. Nguyen Trong Minh himself was also aware that his facility was very unhygienic and "unacceptable" in terms of food safety. The interdisciplinary inspection team of Vinh city made a record of the inspection and violations and invited the owner of the salted eggplant production facility to the Vinh City People's Committee to work.
