Opening the meeting this afternoon, Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha answered questions, focusing on the following issues: construction licensing; appraisal of construction project designs; and social housing development.

Next, Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha said that the Ministry has fully prepared conditions to serve the national high school graduation exam for nearly 9,000 students to participate, ensuring fairness and quality, with 99.8% of candidates currently participating.

Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh said that 2016 was a difficult year for Vietnam's economic growth, so it is necessary to continue to remove difficulties, promote favorable conditions, expand production, create opportunities for businesses to develop; focus on improving production organization methods, accessing potential markets; review and adjust business registration conditions; remove difficulties and resolve them thoroughly so that investment projects can operate effectively.

Regarding the health sector, Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien gave her opinions on the following basic contents: allocating funds to implement national target programs on health; investing in the construction of local hospitals; regulating prices for health services; striving to have 90% of the population participate in health insurance; and implementing centralized bidding for health services.

Next, the Deputy Prime Ministers gave their opinions on removing difficulties and developing the socio-economy in the last 6 months of the year. Concluding the meeting, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc acknowledged the efforts of localities in socio-economic development in the first 6 months of the year; affirmed the determination to build a disciplined government to serve the people and businesses, the task of the government and localities is to create a premise for people and businesses to develop; lead and direct the development of the economy according to the socialist-oriented market mechanism; implement a transparent management mechanism, moving towards eliminating the mechanism of asking and giving; promote socialization, considering the private economic sector as an important driving force of economic growth; determined to reform administration, maintain growth momentum and pay special attention to social security issues.
