Con Cuong is the second unit of Nghe An to conduct teacher assessment and classification.

According to the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Con Cuong district, this testing and assessment program will be carried out with about 1,200 teachers of the whole district at three levels: preschool, primary and secondary school. Accordingly, the test will be in the form of objective and essay questions with a time limit of 60 minutes. It is expected that the structure of the test will include 50 questions, of which the first 20 questions will be general knowledge including questions about politics and pedagogical skills, the next 30 questions will be questions about professional knowledge.

The test results will be evaluated according to 4 levels: excellent (9 - 10 points), good (7 - 9 points), average (5 - 7 points) and poor (less than 5 points).

Regarding the inspection and evaluation, this summer, the Department of Education and Training of Con Cuong district also conducted training for teachers on specialized topics. According to the plan of the department, the inspection and evaluation is one of the bases for evaluating and classifying the annual regular training tasks, one of the bases for evaluating and classifying cadres, teachers, employees and considering emulation titles and implementing related policies.

This is also the basis for building training and development plans for units, self-study and self-development of employees and testing and evaluating the capacity of teachers and staff in the coming time.

According to the plan, the inspection and evaluation will be carried out at the end of October. Many teachers also agreed with this information and said that this is necessary to objectively assess the current capacity of teachers. However, in addition, some cases are concerned when the Department of Education and Training has a policy of exemption for principals and teachers who are recognized as good teachers. Meanwhile, currently, there are many school leaders who have not been recognized as good teachers.

The leader of the District Department of Education and Training also said: The "exemption" is only for content in the professional field. As for the questions about politics and professional skills, all teachers must do it.

After Ky Son district, Con Cuong district is the second unit in the whole province to conduct teacher assessment and classification. In Ky Son district, through assessment, 275/769 primary school teachers did not meet the requirements to teach at all levels (accounting for 35.8%), of which 28 teachers could not be arranged to teach in class. At the secondary level, 119/448 teachers had below average scores when taking the survey (accounting for 26.5%).
