Con Cuong: Implementing the unification of leadership positions at department and office levels

On the afternoon of July 19, the Con Cuong District Party Committee held a conference to review the Party building work and implementation of the Party Charter during the 12th Congress term. Attending and directing the conference were comrades Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Provincial Agencies; Luong Thanh Hai - Head of the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee, representatives of the leaders of the committees and the Provincial Party Committee Office.

At the conference, delegates assessed the implementation of tasks in the first 6 months of 2019. Accordingly, Party committees at all levels in Con Cuong have led and directed units and localities to effectively implement key tasks in 2019 on socio-economics, national defense and security and Party building; regularly cared for and helped Party cells facing difficulties; propaganda and public opinion orientation work were focused; mass mobilization, inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement were strengthened.

Con Cuong has unified the position of Head of the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and Chairman of the District Fatherland Front Committee, issued a Plan to unify the position of Head of the Organization Committee and Head of the Internal Affairs Department; Head of the District Party Committee's Inspection Committee and Chief Inspector of the District, strengthened the rotation of cadres; admitted 50 party members and awarded Party badges to 60 comrades. Organized inspections of signs of violations against 1 collective and 3 party members, disciplined 7 party members, removed the names of 3 party members, and expelled 3 comrades from the Party.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of Con Cuong district in recent times, especially the innovation, identification of resources and strengths of the district for socio-economic development; determined to implement the key directives of the province, the resolutions of the Central Committee, especially the Central Resolution 6 (term XII).

Concluding the conference, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee emphasized the tasks from now until the end of the year: Complete the summer-autumn crop production plan, prevent and not let African swine fever recur; focus on forest management and protection and forest fire prevention and fighting; replicate agricultural models; speed up the progress of building the general planning of Con Cuong district into an effective ecological urban area; strengthen inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline; implement discipline and administrative discipline; review, consolidate and rearrange the organization of departments, offices and organizations.
