Nghe An police arrest drug lord with 6 guns in house
(Baonghean.vn) - Drug lord Phan Van Phien used money to hire two drug dealers in Nghe An and Ha Tinh to bring drugs to the Southern market.
The Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (Nghe An Police) has just arrested Phan Van Phien (born in 1981, residing in Dak Song district, Dak Nong province) for illegal drug trafficking. A quantity of drugs and 6 guns were seized from his home.

Previously, on February 26, 2020, in Ba village, Xuan Linh commune, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province, under the direct direction of the Nghe An police, the Drug Crime Investigation Department arrested Tran Khac Bay (born in 1983, residing in Cong Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district) and Nguyen Canh Vinh (born in 1973, residing in Trang Son commune, Do Luong district, Nghe An). They seized 4 heroin cakes and 3 kg of crystal meth.
At the investigation agency, Tran Khac Bay confessed to receiving the above drugs from Vinh to transport to Phan Van Phien.

Continuing to expand the investigation, on March 8, Nghe An Police coordinated with Dak Nong and Dak Lak Provincial Police to arrest Phan Van Phien at his private home in Hamlet 4, Nam N'Jang Commune, Dak Song District, Dak Nong Province. During the arrest, the suspect held a gun and barricaded himself in the house.
After the force surrounded the entire house and convinced him to surrender, the subject surrendered. During an urgent search of Phien's private home, the authorities seized 5 pistols, 1 homemade gun, 3 packages of heroin, 1 package of crystal meth and more than 100 million VND.

At the investigation agency, Phien admitted to being the one who hired Tran Khac Bay to receive drugs from Nguyen Canh Vinh for Phien to consume in Ho Chi Minh City.
Currently, the working group has transferred Phan Van Phien from Dak Nong province to Nghe An to continue the investigation.
