Nghe An police hunt down 'female monster' wanted in Laos for 15 years

Previously, Que Phong District Police discovered a number of local drug criminals fleeing to Laos.

Among them is Luong Thi Hien (born in 1974, permanent residence before fleeing the wanted list: Muong Noc commune, Que Phong district) who was issued a wanted notice No. 01 by the District Police Investigation Agency on February 10, 2009 for the act of evading execution of sentence for illegal drug trafficking.

Over the past 15 years, Que Phong District Police detectives have been constantly collecting information and identifying clues about Luong Thi Hien to capture the subject. Using professional measures, in early 2024, the detectives obtained information that Luong Thi Hien was hiding in the mountainous area of ​​​​Muong Quan District, Hua Phan Province (Laos).

To avoid detection by authorities, the subject uses many sophisticated tricks such as changing identity, frequently moving instead of staying in one fixed location, and when detecting strangers, immediately fleeing into the forest.

However, with the determination to arrest the subject to the end, Que Phong District Police coordinated with the professional departments of the Provincial Police; Police of Muong Quan and Sam To districts (Laos) to verify information related to the subject.

On June 11, 2024, at Keo Put village, Muong Quan district, the authorities successfully arrested Luong Thi Hien.

On the morning of June 12, 2024, at Thong Thu border gate, Que Phong district police received the subject and extradited him to Nghe An to conduct investigation and handle him according to the law.
