On July 4, the Nghi Loc District Police Department issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Tran Thi Thanh Nga (born in 1988), residing in Hamlet 3, Son Linh Commune, Huong Son District, Ha Tinh Province, for illegal possession of narcotics.

Previously, through professional measures, this investigation agency discovered a drug trafficking line from Cau Treo border gate in Ha Tinh province to the industrial park with many workers in Nghi Loc district for consumption. Project 618H was established by the leaders of Nghi Loc district police to fight. Through reconnaissance work and professional measures, the investigation agency identified Tran Thi Thanh Nga as a direct link in this drug trafficking line.
Through information, the Investigation Committee learned that on June 29, Nga would buy drugs in the Vietnam - Laos border area, so they decided to solve the case.
At 12:30 p.m. the same day, the detectives discovered that Nga had just bought drugs from a Lao man in the border area. When the subject went to the inter-village road in hamlet 4, Son Linh commune, Huong Son district, Ha Tinh, the working group raided and caught him red-handed for illegal possession of drugs. The seized evidence included 400 pink pills, total weight 54.45 grams.
Currently, Tran Thi Thanh Nga is being detained for authorities to continue investigating and expanding the case.
