Nghe An Provincial Police: Efforts to shorten and simplify administrative procedures
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 21, Nghe An Provincial Police held a conference to review 1 year of implementing Resolution No. 07-NQ/DUCA dated October 14, 2016 of the Provincial Police Party Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership over administrative reform (AR) in the new situation.
Attending the conference were Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department.
Nghe An Provincial Police is the first unit to have a Resolution directing administrative reform work, which is highly appreciated by the Ministry of Public Security and the Provincial People's Committee. After more than 1 year of implementation, the Provincial Police has revised the unit's quarterly emulation meeting regulations; posted addresses and phone numbers for reflecting and making recommendations on administrative regulations at One-Stop Departments and Ward Police; scanned 100% of passports into the electronic mail archive, deployed the electronic passport declaration system...

Through the drastic direction of administrative reform, many cadres and party members have gained awareness and acted to serve the people wholeheartedly and thoughtfully. Internal administrative reform has had a great change in quality, working hours, order, and internal affairs of units and localities have become more regular and orderly; the implementation of many aspects of public security work has had positive changes.
At the conference, professional units and local police presented the advantages and limitations of their units in administrative reform work in the past time; at the same time, discussed solutions to strengthen administrative reform work to better serve the people.
With the achieved results, in 2 consecutive years 2016 and 2017, Nghe An Provincial Police was ranked first by the Ministry of Public Security in administrative reform work among the entire Public Security force; The Provincial People's Committee awarded 4 collectives and 4 individuals, the Director of the Provincial Police awarded Certificates of Merit to 12 collectives and 26 individuals with outstanding achievements in administrative reform work.

Concluding the conference, Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau - Director of the Provincial Police emphasized that all officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police must always strive to maintain the title they have achieved, not to regress or decline. In administrative reform work, it is necessary to further improve the polite attitude of police officers towards the masses: dedicated, polite, not causing trouble or harassment.
In addition, each officer and soldier needs to constantly improve their professional skills to best serve the people. In particular, they need to continue to make efforts to shorten administrative procedures and service time to simplify procedures and create convenience for the people.
