Police identify 4 students suspected of being beaten by grandfather
The reason the children were abused by their relatives is said to be because they were playing with water and disobedient. These four children were beaten by Mr. Hung and X. with sticks and hands on their faces, buttocks, and backs.
On September 4, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung - Chairman of the People's Committee of An Xuyen Commune, Ca Mau City, Ca Mau Province said that the City Police have investigated 4 students studying at Tran Quoc Toan Primary School suspected of being abused by relatives.
According to Mr. Hung, all four students have been taken to the hospital for examination by the authorities, and their health is basically stable. At the same time, the authorities have taken them to the Social Protection Center for temporary residence.

On the same day, the People's Committee of Ca Mau City said that it had received a report from the Ca Mau City Police about child abuse in Tan Hiep Hamlet, An Xuyen Commune.
Accordingly, the initial verification results showed that Mr. Nguyen Van Hung (65 years old) and NMX (11 years old), NNM (10 years old) beat 4 students, including: N.D.K. (7 years old), NTC (7 years old), NVL (8 years old) and NGH (7 years old).
All four children are studying at Tran Quoc Toan Primary School, Ca Mau City and are Mr. Hung's grandchildren.

Ca Mau City People's Committee said that the city's authorities have conducted a crime scene investigation, collected evidence, and verified to handle the case according to the provisions of law.
Earlier, on the morning of September 3, teachers at Tran Quoc Toan Primary School discovered four students coming to class with many bruises on their bodies, suspected of being abused, so they reported the incident to the authorities.
After receiving the information, the authorities intervened. The children were taken to Ca Mau General Hospital for examination. There, it was discovered that NVL, in addition to injuries to his buttocks, back, arms... the doctor also recorded a broken nasal bone.
It is known that the parents of the 4 children work as factory workers in Binh Duong and all 4 children were sent to their grandparents for care.
