Attending the announcement ceremony were comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Council, along with representatives of the Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Tourism and leaders of Thanh Chuong district; representatives of travel companies and tourism establishments in the province.

HDT eco-tourism area in Thanh Thuy commune, Thanh Chuong district started construction in 2016 with the initial policy of developing a purely agricultural economy according to the VAC model, combining fruit tree planting, pig and chicken farming and fish farming.

In 2019, the investor shifted its investment to the HDT eco-tourism farm model. On April 4, 2023, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 894 recognizing the HDT eco-tourism area in Thanh Thuy commune, Thanh Chuong district as a tourist destination of the province. Currently, the tourist area includes experiential activities associated with farming; food, accommodation, and entertainment services.

The HDT eco-tourism area of ​​Thanh Thuy commune currently has a total area of ​​nearly 22 hectares with a total investment of more than 45 billion VND. Currently, the eco-tourism area includes a large timber forest, fruit trees, ponds and lakes, creating a cool, clean and beautiful ecological space, serving the needs of experience and enjoyment of tourists inside and outside the province, along with the people.

Sharing about the development orientation of the tourist area, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hop - Director of HDT Eco-tourism Area of ​​Thanh Thuy commune said that the facility is continuing to be invested in, improving product quality and developing, improving service standards, including a system of high-class Bungalows; 3-star standard hotel area: meeting, conference and seminar room system; standard swimming pool and outdoor sports area; entertainment, children's experiences.

With the strength of agricultural products meeting OCOP standards (jackfruit, canarium, green-skinned grapefruit, pickled cucumber, Thanh Chuong hill chicken, etc.), the facility will deploy an area to introduce HDT agricultural products and specialties of Thanh Chuong hometown.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Chien - Vice Chairman of Thanh Chuong District People's Committee affirmed: HDT eco-tourism area in Thanh Thuy commune is the first recognized tourist destination in Thanh Chuong district. Putting HDT eco-tourism area into operation and being recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as an eco-tourism destination creates an additional destination for Thanh Chuong district and diversifies the district's tourism products.

At the same time, in the near future, the district will also organize connections with other tourist attractions in the area such as: Le Kim Family Church - Bach Ma Temple - Che Island - Liep Waterfall and many other places...; contributing to the development of the district's tourism economy.
