(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), on the afternoon of July 13, a working delegation of the Ministry of Finance Trade Union in coordination with the Nghe An Department of Finance Trade Union visited and presented gifts to the Centers and Nursing Homes for War Invalids and Sick Soldiers in Nghe An.
Specifically, the delegation visitedNghe An War Invalids Nursing Centerand the Mental Health Nursing Home for War Invalids under the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in Nghi Phong commune (Nghi Loc) and presented gifts and 20 million VND to each unit.

At the places visited, on behalf of the delegation, Mr. Bui Xuan Ngoc - Deputy Director, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Finance kindly visited the wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and relatives of martyrs who were being treated and cared for here. The gifts are the heart, showing the morality of "Drinking water, remember the source" of the officials, civil servants and public employees of the Finance sector to show gratitude for the contributions of wounded soldiers and martyrs in the wars of national liberation. On this occasion, the Nghe An Department of Finance Trade Union also presented gifts to 2 units, each worth 5 million VND, to support the care and treatment of wounded soldiers.

On behalf of the wounded soldiers and their families, representatives of the Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center and the Mental Health War Invalids Nursing Area sincerely thanked the working group and promised to do their best to take good care of them, partly compensating for their sacrifices and losses during the two resistance wars.

Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center was established in 1974. After nearly 50 years, the Center has cared for thousands of wounded and sick soldiers. Currently, the Center is caring for 59 wounded soldiers, of which over 50 are seriously wounded, with a disability of over 81%.

Meanwhile, the Mental Health Nursing Home for War Invalids is currently managing and caring for 78 subjects, of which 51 are war invalids, children of war invalids, sick soldiers, people affected by Agent Orange, and 27 people are subjects of social protection and other diseases./.
