Civil servant union mobilizes more than 122 million VND for social activities

(Baonghean.vn) - In the first 9 months of 2016, the Executive Committee of Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union had many social activities towards the grassroots, taking care of the lives of workers and caring for poor students in the mountainous border areas.

With the support of union members at affiliated grassroots unions, in the first 9 months of 2016, Nghe An Civil Servants' Union spent 122.5 million VND on social activities, of which the grassroots unions contributed 106 million VND.

Nghe An Civil Servants' Union has organized activities such as: Supporting union members in difficult circumstances, giving newspapers and televisions to boarding houses in Bac Vinh Industrial Park, Nam Cam Industrial Park; giving gifts to poor students in Tuong Duong district, Ky Son district... contributing a small part to social security work.
