Nghe An Power Company responds to the 8th 'EVN Pink Week'
(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to the 8th "EVN Red Week", on the morning of December 10, Nghe An Electricity Company coordinated with Nghe An Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center to organize a voluntary and humanitarian blood donation program.
The program "EVN Pink Week" has been organized by Nghe An Electricity Company for many years.
Responding to the call of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion and responding to the "EVN Pink Week" program launched by Vietnam Electricity Group, Nghe An Electricity Company called on all officers, employees and workers of the Company to join hands to help patients have the opportunity to live with their own precious blood, with their own sincere hearts.

In particular, in 2020 and 2021, in the context of the strong outbreak of Covid-19, but with the spirit of mutual love, sharing difficulties with the community, Nghe An Power Company still responded to "EVN Pink Week" flexibly, ensuring safety in epidemic prevention and control.
It is noteworthy that the cadres, employees, and workers, despite being in units that have to continuously endure historic storms and floods, or areas affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, still actively participate in this charitable activity.

Through 7 implementations, the volunteer spirit of the staff and workers of Nghe An Power Company has been expanded every year. Many staff and workers of the unit have volunteered to donate blood for all 7 years and continue to register to participate in this 8th year. In particular, there are people who have donated blood 15 times.
Thus, it can be seen that love has been spread and the circle of compassion has become wider and wider throughout Nghe An Power Company in particular and the entire Electricity industry in general.

This year’s “EVN Pink Week” attracted the participation of 142 officers and employees of the Company. In addition, there was also blood donation by officers and employees of units under the Electricity sector located in the province such as: Power Transmission and Ban Ve Hydropower Company.
Not only during the "EVN Pink Week" launched by the Group, at each stage of the year, in districts, cities and towns in the province, officers and employees of affiliated units also participate in humanitarian blood donation programs in localities.

This program is organized on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the Vietnam Electricity Industry's traditional day (December 21, 1954 - December 21, 2022), responding to "Customer Gratitude Month"; at the same time, it is also a meaningful social security activity when the Lunar New Year is approaching, contributing significantly to overcoming the blood shortage during each Tet holiday.

“December is a time when blood reserves are scarce for patients, especially for children. The Covid-19 pandemic has affected blood donation activities and blood transfusion safety across the country.
