Earlier, the alliance's naval command reported that its ships as part of the second permanent mine countermeasures group (SNMCMG2) are in the Black Sea, where they will participate in exercises.
“These exercises will take place under close Russian observation. There is simply no other choice,” the lawmaker said, adding that “no one will allow provocations against this part of Russia.”
The United States is known as a country that creates armed conflicts in different parts of the world, and the exercises near the Russian border are another example of provocation, Mr. Gempel noted.
According to him, Moscow closely monitors all military exercises, as well as the movement of foreign armed forces on its borders.
