93-year-old man drowned while bathing in Lam River
(Baonghean.vn) - During the hot weather, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Bang (93 years old), residing in Lam Dinh hamlet, Thanh Giang commune (Thanh Chuong) went to Lam river to bathe, slipped and fell and died.
Accordingly, at about 4:30 p.m. on June 29, Mr. Bang went alone to the Lam River wharf of the hamlet to bathe.

After bathing for about 5 minutes, he slipped and fell into the river. At the time of the incident, people promptly discovered Mr. Bang struggling in the water, but by the time they reached his body and brought him to shore, he had died.
It is known that the area where the incident occurred had a water level that was not too deep but the current was strong. Due to his old age and poor health, and not having anyone to bathe with, Mr. Bang could not resist the current.
