Do Luong voters: Need to promote economic development associated with ensuring social security

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 11, provincial People's Council delegates had a meeting with voters of Do Luong district.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Le Minh Giang - Standing Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Do Luong district; Truong Cong Thao - Secretary of the Town Party Committee.

At the meeting, comrade Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council reported on the election results of the Provincial People's Council delegates and the first session of the Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term, election of key positions; socio-economic development, national defense and security of Nghe An province in the first 6 months of the year and orientation for the last 6 months of 2016.

Comrade Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the meeting.

Voters in Do Luong town have many suggestions focusing on the following issues: Attracting investment projects in the district is still slow, affecting economic development; the increasing drug and drug addiction situation affects social order and safety; the slow issuance and renewal of land use right certificates; the situation of oversized, overloaded, and homemade vehicles still circulating widely, affecting traffic order and safety; the situation of counterfeit and poor quality goods is widespread but has not received attention from the authorities.

Provincial and district People's Council delegates responded to voters' opinions within their authority and accepted recommendations to submit to the upcoming session of the Provincial People's Council.
