Do Luong voters: Need to promote economic development associated with ensuring social security

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 11, provincial People's Council delegates had a meeting with voters of Do Luong district.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Le Minh Giang - Standing Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Do Luong district; Mr. Truong Cong Thao - Secretary of the Town Party Committee.

At the meeting, comrade Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council reported on the election results of the Provincial People's Council delegates and the first session of the Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term, election of key positions; socio-economic development, national defense and security of Nghe An province in the first 6 months of the year and orientation for the last 6 months of 2016.

Comrade Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the meeting.

Voters in Do Luong town have many suggestions focusing on the following issues: Attracting investment projects in the district is still slow, affecting economic development; the situation of drug and drug addiction is increasing, affecting social order and safety; the issuance and exchange of land use right certificates is slow; the situation of oversized, overloaded vehicles, and homemade vehicles still circulating widely, affecting traffic order and safety; the situation of counterfeit and poor quality goods is widespread but has not received attention from functional sectors.
