On the afternoon of June 23, deputies of the 15th National Assembly at constituency No. 3 had a meeting with voters in Cau Giat town, Quynh Luu district.
Attending the conference were National Assembly deputies elected at Election Team No. 3: Pham Phu Binh - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee; Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union. Also attending were representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches and leaders of Quynh Luu district.

At the meetings, on behalf of the National Assembly delegates, delegate Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union informed voters about the expected content and program of the 3rd Session of the 15th National Assembly; some outstanding activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation at the session.
Participating in giving opinions, voter Nguyen The San highly appreciated the fact that the National Assembly, relevant agencies and organizations always listen to the opinions of voters and people, proactively and actively coordinate to promptly make important decisions, effectively solve practical problems, have many innovations with popular content, especially the fight against corruption that the Party and Government have resolutely implemented.

Voter San expressed that in recent years, the Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption has operated very effectively and achieved certain results, but there are still some limitations, requiring this work to continue to be implemented more drastically.
Voter Nguyen Hong Long reflects on the low salary policy for grassroots cadres and low allowances for village and hamlet cadres. He requests the National Assembly to propose to the Government to increase the salary for grassroots cadres and allowances for village and hamlet cadres so that they can work with peace of mind.

“There are current inadequacies in the arrangement of cadres to hold the position of chairman of the commune veterans association. To resolve the surplus of cadres due to streamlining the payroll, there are cases where commune civil servants are transferred to the position of chairman of the commune veterans association, and along with that comes inadequacies in the salary regime,” Mr. Long reflected.
At the conference, voters also raised opinions on compensation for land clearance on National Highway 1A; inadequacies in regulations on allowances for block and hamlet cadres after the merger; concerns about the policy of the militia and self-defense force, etc.

Responding to the clarification of the petition of Cau Giat town voters regarding the petition of households regarding compensation for site clearance for the project to upgrade and expand National Highway 1A, comrade Nguyen Xuan Dinh - Vice Chairman of Quynh Luu District People's Committee said that after reviewing Cau Giat town, there are still 395 households that have not been compensated.
The district has established inspection and examination teams; after screening, 69 households have complete records, the rest have not identified the land origin, and do not have supporting documents. The district People's Committee has asked for opinions from the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the provincial People's Committee to review and implement, and resolve the rights of the people.

To clarify this issue, delegate Pham Phu Binh shared: This is a problem that has existed since history, the amount of money to pay is large so it cannot be solved overnight but must be included in the budget plan for payment. This content has been and is being pursued by the Party Committee and authorities at all levels of Nghe An province to resolve it completely, in order to pay compensation to the people.
"With the role and responsibility of elected National Assembly deputies in the locality, National Assembly deputies will continue to closely follow the settlement of relevant ministries and branches to report to voters as soon as possible," the deputy affirmed.

Responding to voters' petitions on the salary regime, delegate Pham Phu Binh said the Government is continuing to implement salary reform in the direction of paying salaries according to job positions.
Regarding voters' recommendations, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will receive and synthesize the recommendations with the Provincial People's Council and competent authorities.
