Que Phong voters propose to completely resolve the problems after resettlement of Hua Na hydropower plant
(Baonghean.vn) – Voters of Dong Van and Thong Thu communes, Que Phong district, petitioned to completely resolve the difficulties after the resettlement of Hua Na hydropower plant.
On August 11, delegates of the Provincial People's Council including Ms. Lo Thi Kim Ngan - Head of the Ethnic Council of the Provincial People's Council and Ms. Lu Thi Thin met with voters of Dong Van and Thong Thu communes, Que Phong district.

At voter contact points, after listening to the report on the results of the 2nd session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, the conference spent a lot of time listening to voters' recommendations.
Accordingly, many voters are worried about some problems of the post-resettlement of Hua Na hydropower plant that have not been completely resolved, while Hua Na hydropower plant is about to be transferred to another company for management.
Voters in Loc village, Thong Thu commune said: 20 households in the village have not received support money for building auxiliary works, 4 households have not received rice support.
Voters also said that rural roads in 4 villages: Hiep An, Hiep Phong, Muong Phu, Muong Piet, Thong Thu commune were accepted at the end of 2014 but until now have not received 30% material support.
The border villages of Muong Phu, Muong Piet, and Thong Thu commune still do not have national grid electricity. In addition, local voters also proposed a number of difficulties related to production land, clean water, policies for the elderly, etc.

On behalf of the Provincial People's Council delegates, Ms. Lo Kim Ngan received and explained recommendations within her authority; other contents will be compiled and transferred to relevant agencies for settlement.
