(Baonghean.vn) - Petitioning to National Assembly delegates, voters of Cua Lo town petitioned about the situation of increasing gasoline and oil prices leading to increased prices of many goods, services, and other costs, making people's lives and production difficult.

On the afternoon of June 27, in Nghi Hoa ward (Cua Lo town), National Assembly deputies: Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; Tran Nhat Minh - Member of the National Assembly's Law Committee, full-time National Assembly deputy had a meeting with voters of Cua Lo town.

Expressing thoughts and aspirations to National Assembly delegates, there were 16 comments reflecting to National Assembly delegates with many contents related to various fields.

Speaking to the National Assembly delegate, voter Tran Thi Ha in Block 2, Nghi Hoa Ward proposed: Proposing that authorities at all levels should speed up the progress of infrastructure construction projects; pay attention to supporting funding to repair and upgrade cultural houses of blocks and hamlets after the merger to ensure community activities for people; perfecting support mechanisms for localities to build model residential areas.

Voter Tran Thi Dao in Nghi Hai ward reflected on the situation of counterfeit goods production affecting the health of consumers and the development of the race, proposing that the State should strictly handle those who produce counterfeit goods to prevent the production of counterfeit goods.

Voter Le Thi Hoa in Block 3, Nghi Hoa Ward expressed concern: The increase in gasoline and oil prices has led to an increase in the prices of many other goods, services, and costs, making people's lives and production difficult.

Voters suggested that the education sector should include History and Geography as core subjects; on the quality of construction investment projects, projects that have been suspended for decades, causing waste; increasing allowances for block and hamlet cadres. The state needs to continue to have policies to encourage agricultural development; the situation of oversized and overloaded vehicles has not been controlled...

Responding to voters' opinions, comrade Doan Tien Dung - Chairman of Cua Lo Town People's Committee said: The province has established inspection teams for the project's slow progress, and the Provincial People's Council has specialized supervision on this content.

“The Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee will issue a Resolution to handle slow-progressing and ineffective projects in the province. Currently, in Cua Lo, there are 4 revocation projects that are planning to be bid. For other “suspended” projects, there will be a plan to inspect and review all projects in the province in general and in Cua Lo town in particular,” informed comrade Doan Tien Dung.

Clarifying issues of concern to voters of Cua Lo town, delegate Vo Thi Minh Sinh said: The National Assembly has just issued Resolution No. 62/2022/QH15 on questioning activities at the 3rd Session of the 15th National Assembly. Accordingly, the National Assembly requested the Government, the Prime Minister, Ministers, and Heads of ministerial-level agencies to focus on implementing solutions and commitments, overcoming shortcomings and limitations, and creating strong changes in state management in the areas being questioned.

Regarding voters' petitions on rising gasoline prices, delegates said that the National Assembly Resolution requires the urgent issuance of full documents to implement Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies to support the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program.

Analyze, forecast, closely monitor the economic situation, inflation developments, prices of raw materials, input fuels and strategic materials, develop scenarios and plans to respond to fluctuations of each item to manage production, facilitate circulation, distribution, balance and regulate supply and demand, and stabilize prices.

Voters' opinions were received and clarified by representatives of relevant departments and branches, leaders of Cua Lo town and National Assembly deputies; the Office of the National Assembly Delegation received and synthesized recommendations to competent authorities.
