Daytime robbery at Phuong market

(Baonghean.vn)- Thanh Giang Commune Police just coordinated with local people to capture a robber. After nearly 1 hour, they caught the robber while he was hiding in a house near Phuong market.

Authorities took testimony from suspect Dinh Van Thuong for robbery.

On September 27, at Phuong market, Thanh Giang commune, a robbery occurred. The victim was Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Linh, residing in My Hoa hamlet, Thanh Lam commune, Thanh Chuong district.

It is known that at around 9:30 am that same day, Ms. Linh went to the market, holding a wallet in her hand containing a Samsung J5 mobile phone, 200,000 VND in cash and some other personal documents. While Ms. Linh was buying food, the robber snatched the wallet and ran away.

The incident happened very quickly, Ms. Linh tried to grab her wallet back and chased after the robber. Then people shouted and chased after him and reported to the police for help.

Evidence found.

Upon receiving the telegram, Thanh Giang commune police coordinated with local people to pursue and after nearly an hour, captured the robber while he was hiding in a house near the market.

Mr. Nguyen Van Manh - Chief of Thanh Giang Commune Police said: Subject Dinh Van Thuong (born in 1994), residing in Hamlet 1, Thanh Mai Commune, Thanh Chuong confessed to his robbery.

Thanh Giang commune police coordinated with Thanh Chuong district police to escort suspect Dinh Van Thuong to Thanh Chuong district police headquarters to continue investigating and clarifying the incident.
