Suspect arrested for murdering couple at night
Police have arrested a suspect related to the murder of a couple at night in Hung Yen City.
On the morning of September 3, Hung Yen Provincial Police announced that the Provincial Police, in coordination with professional units, had arrested a suspect related to the case of a couple who died overnight with multiple injuries in Hong Chau Ward.
The subject's identity was identified as D.CT (residing in Hung Yen City). The authorities have prosecuted the subject for murder and issued an order to temporarily detain the subject.

Previously, in the early morning of August 17, at house number 6 Linh Dai Street (Nam Tien Quarter, Hong Chau Ward, Hung Yen City, Hung Yen Province), a particularly serious murder case occurred, causing the death of a couple with injuries on their bodies. The victims were identified as Dang Van Tr., (born in 1977) and his wife, Nguyen Thi H. (born in 1978).
At the scene, Mr. Tr. died in the bedroom on the first floor with many wounds on his body. Ms. H. was seriously injured and was taken to the Hung Yen Provincial General Hospital by her family for emergency treatment. She was then transferred to Viet Duc Hospital for treatment. At around 8:00 a.m. on August 17, Ms. H. died.
Immediately after the incident, Colonel Do Dinh Hao (Director of Hung Yen Provincial Police) went directly to the scene, directed the Criminal Police Department, the Criminal Technique Department of the Provincial Police and the Hung Yen City Police to coordinate with the Institute of Criminal Science - Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial People's Procuracy to organize a crime scene investigation and autopsy. At the same time, step up investigation measures to arrest the subject for handling according to the provisions of law.
Hung Yen provincial authorities then quickly organized visits, encouraged and supported the victim's family and at the same time investigated to clarify the incident.
On August 19, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Deputy Minister of Public Security, went directly to the scene and directed the Hung Yen Provincial Police to coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security's professional units to investigate and track down the perpetrator.
On August 20, the Investigation Police Agency of Hung Yen Province Police initiated a murder case to quickly investigate and clarify.
From the crime scene and testimonyrelated people, initially, the investigation team determined that the suspect was a male about 20 to 35 years old, about 1m65 to 1m73 tall.
The subject wears a baseball cap, possibly purple Adidas brand shoes, each side of the shoe has 3 white stripes, the shoe collar has a white border around it, wears gray ankle socks, and wears long pants and a dark shirt.
The case is under further investigation.
