Test results of man returning from Japan quarantined at midnight in Nghe An have been released

On the afternoon of March 12, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Director of Nghe An Department of Health said that the unit had just received the Covid-19 test result of Mr. HVH (37 years old, Hung Nguyen district) from the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology. The first test result showed that he was negative for Covid-19.

Previously, authorities in Nghe An had to block the bus carrying Mr. H. at midnight to bring it to a centralized quarantine area and take samples for testing.

Mr. H. is a laborer working in Japan. At the place he stayed in Japan, within a radius of only 1km, there were 5 people infected. Mr. H. lived with 3 other people, and all 3 had coughs, sore throats, difficulty breathing, and chest pain. Fearing that he would be infected, he bought a plane ticket to return home.

As of the evening of March 11, Nghe An province had nearly 800 people quarantined and monitored to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic, an increase of 5 cases compared to the previous day.
Of these, 777 cases are being quarantined at home or place of residence. Of these, 66 people returned from Korea, 15 people returned from China, 277 people returned from Japan, 215 people returned from Taiwan, 9 people returned from Germany, 5 people returned from France...
Currently, in Nghe An, there are also 10 cases being quarantined at the district level. Including 5 people returning from Korea, 2 people returning from China, 1 person from Italy, 2 people returning from Hanoi. In addition, there are 2 cases being quarantined at the hospital.
