(Baonghean.vn) - Police have determined that the motorbike of the social insurance security guard of Quynh Luu district who was murdered last night has disappeared.

On the afternoon of October 14, Colonel Pham Hoai Nam - Head of the Criminal Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police said that through investigation, we found the motorbike related to the case of "murder and robbery" that occurred on the night of October 13 and early morning of October 14 at the headquarters of the Social Insurance of Quynh Luu district.

That is the motorbike with license plate 37F2-0188 used by the victim Dang Ngoc Thanh (born in 1975, residing in Quynh Hong commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An). The motorbike was found in a field in Hoang Mai town (Nghe An) - about 10 km from the crime scene of the Social Insurance office of Quynh Luu district (Nghe An).

Colonel Pham Hoai Nam added that the motorbike had been found, but the suspect had not been arrested yet, and the investigation was ongoing urgently.

As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, at around 6:45 am on October 14, Mr. Dang Ngoc Tho - Director of Quynh Luu District Social Insurance came to work and saw the gate closed. Mr. Tho called the security guard, Mr. Dang Van Thanh, but he did not answer. A while later, Mr. Tho went to the back of the office building and discovered that the security guard had died earlier with multiple head injuries and blood flowing profusely.

At the scene, the safe in the Accounting room of the Quynh Luu District Social Security headquarters was broken into, and the security guard's motorbike was stolen.

Upon receiving the news, Quynh Luu District Police and Nghe An Provincial Police were present at the scene to collect evidence, conduct an autopsy, and investigate the case.
