Provincial People's Council delegates meet voters in localities
(Baonghean.vn) - On October 31, provincial People's Council delegates met with voters in Yen Thanh, Tan Ky and Que Phong districts before the end-of-year session of 2023, the 18th provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.
* On October 31, the Provincial People's Council delegates including Mr. Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Dang Thanh Tung - Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee met with voters of Vinh Thanh and Lang Thanh communes. Also attending were leaders of Yen Thanh district.

At the meeting, voters of the two communes had 22 opinions related to the following issues: The issuance and exchange of land use right certificates, especially the remaining residential land, is still facing many difficulties; The livestock disease situation is complicated, the relevant agencies need to take more drastic measures; The Bac Nghe An Irrigation Company is requested to have a suitable schedule for closing and opening water on the Nong Giang river system; The flooding situation has not been resolved, causing many areas of land to be left fallow during the summer-autumn crop; Many provincial and district roads are in disrepair and have not been invested in for repair and upgrading...
Voters of the two communes also proposed upgrading the rural power grid system; Raising the regime for grassroots cadres, especially village health workers, which is still too low; Supporting costs for children with learning disabilities to integrate into the community, which is only applicable to poor and near-poor households, is not satisfactory.
Voters also suggested that all levels should adjust the position regime for the Chairman of the Commune Veterans Association and preferential treatment for those with meritorious services. Some opinions also suggested that the current compulsory health insurance for students is higher than that for households; the rotation of teachers is still inadequate, with local surpluses and shortages...


At the meeting with voters, the leaders of Yen Thanh district explained a number of issues within their authority. Provincial People's Council delegates: Mr. Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Dang Thanh Tung - Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee also explained areas within their authority; at the same time, they recorded other opinions of voters to submit to the Provincial People's Council and relevant levels and sectors for consideration and handling.

Tien Phong commune voters proposed opinions and recommendations on the following issues: Water supply for agricultural production; Support for trees and animal breeds for production and business after flood damage; Upgrading and repairing inter-village and commune roads; Supporting funding for forest care and protection, village veterinary staff; Building additional functional classrooms and boarding rooms for children of all levels in the commune.

On behalf of the Provincial People's Council delegates, Mr. Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged the voters' valid and practical contributions and promised to fully synthesize and submit to the Provincial People's Council to request relevant agencies to consider and resolve.

In Giai Xuan commune, there were 12 comments focusing on issues of land, policies, transportation and some comments on allowances for concurrently serving cadres at the commune and hamlet levels. Some comments also recommended transferring the land area owned by TNXP4 - Song Con Company Limited (former TNXP 4 General Team) to the commune for management; recommending that superiors invest in repairing and upgrading some degraded bridges and spillways in the area; and building key traffic routes leading to the commune's concentrated raw material areas. Voters also recommended speeding up the progress of granting forest land and residential land certificates to households...
In Tan Long commune, there were 15 comments and recommendations related to the following areas: Issuance of land use right certificates; Policies for Veterans; Land recovery from people over 60 years old by Song Con Agricultural Joint Stock Company needs to be adjusted so as not to affect the rights of the people; Proposal to provide timely support for people affected by natural disasters and drought;
Propose to restore the management position of communal cultural houses and radio stations; Pay attention to building cultural houses after the merger; Many voters want to repair the road from Tan Long commune to Nghia Hoan and Nghia Phuc, Tan An. Voters also recommend paying more attention to the regime for part-time cadres at the hamlet level.

Receiving voters' opinions, representatives of the leaders of Tan Ky communes and district explained issues within their authority. Mr. Pham Thanh Chung - Head of the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council, representing the delegation of the Provincial People's Council, answered issues within their authority, and at the same time recorded voters' opinions and forwarded them to relevant levels and agencies for consideration and resolution.
