National Assembly delegates meet voters of Thanh Chuong district before the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 11, in Thanh Long commune (Thanh Chuong), elected XV National Assembly deputies in constituency No. 4 met with voters in the communes of Thanh An, Thanh Chi, Thanh Khe, Vo Liet, Thanh Thuy, Thanh Long, Thanh Ha, Thanh Tung, Thanh Giang, Thanh Mai, Thanh Lam, Thanh Xuan before the 4th session of the XV National Assembly.

National Assembly delegates include comrades: Do Van Chien - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Thai Van Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Education and Training.

Also attending were comrades: Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province; Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province; leaders of Thanh Chuong district.

At the conference, voters highly appreciated the activities of the National Assembly in the spirit of: a dynamic, innovative National Assembly that acts for the people; at the same time, voters also made recommendations to the delegates.

Mr. Dang Van Tuan in Thanh Long commune, proposed that the National Assembly, the Government and relevant ministries and branches conduct a review of agricultural land allocated under Decree 64, in order to find a solution to re-allocate areas that the allocated people do not need to use due to moving to another place, doing other jobs or having died but still letting others cultivate. Meanwhile, local people born after 1994 are not allocated rice fields for production.

In particular, at the conference, many voters highlighted the difficulties of the Bich Hao area, including the communes of Thanh Xuan, Thanh Lam, Thanh Giang, Thanh Tung, Thanh Ha, Thanh Mai and Thanh Long due to natural conditions of "dry before the sun, flooded before the rain".

On that basis, voters suggested paying attention to research, survey and construction of flood control systems, and at the same time, storing water to ensure production.

Particularly for Thanh Long and Vo Liet communes, voter Dang Van Tuan requested relevant levels and sectors to pay attention to allocating funds for Thanh Chuong Irrigation Company Limited to restore Bai Ram Water Pumping Station in Vo Liet commune to serve irrigation for 220 hectares of agricultural land in Thanh Long and Vo Liet communes.

In addition, voters of Thanh Chuong district proposed that all levels pay attention to investing in the construction of Phuong bridge across Lam river connecting National Highway 46A in Thanh Duong commune to National Highway 46C in Thanh Giang commune; upgrading the power grid system in the area...

Along with that, voters in Thanh Chuong district raised concerns in building schools that meet national standards; thereby, requesting the National Assembly and the Government to have a policy of allocating budget to invest in facilities.

Voters also suggested strengthening mineral management; at the same time, recommending a number of contents related to amending the Land Law and promulgating the Law on Democracy at the grassroots level.

In addition, Mr. Phan Chinh Tam in Vo Liet commune, delegates also had many recommendations related to the arrangement of some commune-level cadre positions, regimes and policies for block, hamlet and village cadres.

On behalf of the elected National Assembly deputies in constituency No. 4, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province Thai Thanh Quy informed voters about some main results of the 6th Central Conference (term XIII), the socio-economic situation of the whole country in general, and Nghe An province in the first 9 months of the year.

In addition, the Provincial Party Secretary shared the difficulties and losses of the people and voters due to the recent floods; hoped that the local Party committees and authorities, together with the people, would unite and unite to overcome difficulties, soon stabilize life and restore production.

Sharing and evaluating the voters' recommendations and concerns as very valid, on behalf of the National Assembly Deputies, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy continued to discuss some solutions.

In particular, regarding land-related issues in practice, there are still many difficulties and shortcomings; many complaints and petitions from the people are also related to land. The Provincial Party Secretary said that the Central Government has a policy, the Government is preparing to submit to the National Assembly for consideration and amendment of the Land Law.

Thereby, contributing to fundamentally, synchronously and uniformly solving shortcomings and limitations; at the same time, effectively promoting land resources, using them more effectively for socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, security and environmental protection; contributing to solving social problems, creating more equality among land users.

Regarding the regime for village, hamlet, block and commune cadres, the Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province said: Currently, the policies for village, hamlet, block and commune cadres in Nghe An have been fully applied by the province within the policy framework prescribed by the State.

However, the current voter opinion is still low, which is also something that the provincial leaders have grasped. The Provincial Party Secretary expressed sympathy for the hardships and appreciated the contributions of the team of cadres of the blocks, hamlets, villages and communes - those who directly convey policies and guidelines to the people; directly mobilize and implement them with the people.

The Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation said that the issue of the regime for the above cadres had been discussed at the forum of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Council. Accordingly, based on the province's resources, Nghe An will study, consider, and consider providing additional support for the cadres of the blocks, hamlets, and villages.

Also at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Thai Thanh Quy discussed and clarified some issues that voters were interested in and recommended, especially traffic infrastructure, infrastructure serving agricultural production for people in Bich Hao area; the province's leadership and direction in mineral management and socialization of education.
