On the afternoon of May 22, the Party Committee of the Vietnam - Korea Technical College held a Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term. The Political Report presented at the congress stated: In the 2015 - 2020 term, the Vietnam - Korea Technical College has enrolled and trained 5,460 students in the college, intermediate, primary and college levels. At the same time, in coordination with the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education, high schools in the province have classified, enrolled and trained intermediate level students for students 9+ according to the policies of the Party and the State.

Cooperating with the Lao Ministry of Defense to recruit and train college students in Mechatronics and Electrical - Electronics; recruiting and training pilot classes of training programs transferred from Australia and Germany; recruiting and training Korean and Japanese languages ​​for exported workers. Providing orientation education for thousands of workers nationwide before they leave for Korea...

During the past term, the Party Committee of the school has led the Party Committee to implement and complete the set targets, of which 17/23 targets were achieved and exceeded the plan. The organizational structure system has been rearranged to meet the requirements of development and innovation. The staff and teachers have been standardized, and the quality of the staff has increased significantly. The school has successfully completed the Phase III project of Korea, chaired by the Korea International Cooperation Agency, to invest in construction, purchase training equipment, revise training programs, and improve the qualifications of staff and teachers with a total value of 6 million USD...

The school's scientific research has made great strides. In the 2015-2020 term, the school had 95 scientific research topics that were effectively applied in teaching, learning and production.

In the period 2015 - 2020, every year the school has teachers and students who have won high prizes in vocational competitions and excellent teacher competitions. Many students have been selected to participate in ASEAN and international vocational competitions, achieving many high prizes... This success is the reason why units and businesses trust and choose the school as a labor supplier.

Currently, the school regularly cooperates to coordinate training and provide labor for nearly 100 domestic and foreign enterprises, ensuring that more than 90% of students after graduation are consulted, have jobs, and have stable income both domestically and abroad...

The Party Congress of Vietnam - Korea Technical College for the 2020 - 2025 term clearly defined the directions and tasks as follows:

- Continue to improve the leadership capacity of Party committees and organizations;

- Building a team of cadres and party members who are politically steadfast, have pure moral qualities, and have the working capacity to meet task requirements.

- Building a school that develops comprehensively in all aspects, standing in the top schools approaching the level of ASEAN-4 countries;

- Is a center for training high-quality human resources in the North Central region and a trusted address for young entrepreneurs.

- Expand training links and international relations to ensure meeting set targets; research the labor market to increase enrollment targets, open some more majors suitable to reality.

- Promote scientific research activities to serve training and socio-economic development; focus on topics aimed at improving training quality, accessing and applying technical technology to meet the 4.0 industrial revolution.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Le Quoc Hong - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Vinh City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission emphasized that in the coming term, the school needs to build a development strategy with a roadmap and appropriate steps to strive to achieve the criteria of a high-quality college, within the system of schools approaching the level of ASEAN-4 countries; focusing on searching for and opening new majors, suitable to current practical conditions.

Review and build a team of managers and teachers that meet the standards of a high-quality vocational school, with qualifications and capacity to meet the requirements of the new stage. Focus on building and promoting the school's brand and reputation in conjunction with recruiting, expanding the area and recruiting subjects not only within the province. Take care of building a strong Party Committee, school and organizations and unions; improve the leadership and management capacity of the Party Committee and the School Board of Directors with the spirit of democratic and effective innovation.

The Congress elected a new Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term, consisting of 7 comrades; elected a delegation to attend the 24th Vinh City Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. Comrade Ho Van Dam continued to be elected as Party Secretary for the 2020-2025 term.
