During the 2015 - 2020 term, the Party Committee of Dien Ngoc commune has strengthened innovation in the Party's leadership methods, focused on building a strong government, and promoted the role of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations. The Party Committee has achieved quite comprehensive results in all fields, with 28/33 targets achieved and exceeded.

Regarding socio-economy: Growth rate reached 13%, 1% higher than the average of the whole district; budget revenue for the whole term was nearly 40 billion VND, meeting the target; average income per capita reached 51 million VND/person, 1.8 times higher than at the beginning of the term.

In particular, Dien Ngoc has promoted the strength of the marine industry, the total catch in 2019 reached nearly 16,000 tons, an increase of 30% compared to the target; together with the seafood processing industry, the total income from the marine industry in 2019 reached 615 billion VND, accounting for 34% of the total income of the whole commune, exceeding the target of the term.

In the field of national defense and security, Dien Ngoc is a typical commune in the activities of the Marine Militia Platoon, achieving good results in the model of: 3 savings - 3 reductions and transforming complicated drug-related areas.

Regarding Party building work, the Party Committee has issued 65 Resolutions, 24 programs and projects, and 31 plans to implement the targets of the term. In implementing Resolution 4 of the Central Committee, the entire Party Committee has overcome 48/58 limitations and shortcomings; the Party Committee has built 31 skillful mass mobilization models; commended nearly 60 typical examples of implementing Directive 05; During the term, 45 new Party members were admitted.

In the new term (2020 - 2025), the Dien Ngoc Commune Party Committee strives to achieve an annual economic growth target of 15%, income of 80 million VND/person/year; 100% cultural hamlets; national defense and security continue to be stable; admit 45 new party members. Strive to complete the goal of building new rural areas by the end of 2020.

The Congress also voted to approve 34 targets on economy, culture - society, national defense - security and Party building for the 2020 - 2025 term; elected 15 comrades to the Party Committee of the commune, term XX, elected 5 delegates to attend the 31st Congress of Dien Chau District Party Committee.
