Party Congress of Quynh Bang Commune (Quynh Luu) for the 2020-2025 term

In the 2015 - 2020 term, the Quynh Bang Commune Party Committee has promoted the tradition of solidarity, leading the people to basically complete and exceed the set targets. The total production value in 2020 is estimated at 528.4 billion VND, an increase of 0.3% compared to the congress target and an increase of 50.6% compared to 2015; the average economic growth rate in 5 years is estimated at 9.8%. The economic structure has shifted in a positive direction. The average income per capita in 2020 is estimated at more than 42.6 million VND/year, an increase of 81.9% compared to 2015.

Promoting the local advantages, Quynh Bang commune has focused on leading and directing the promotion of agricultural production, implementing model fields and safe vegetable production models according to VietGAP standards, and greenhouse vegetable growing models using high technology to promote efficiency. The average production value/ha of cultivation in 2020 is estimated at 152.7 million VND, an increase of 9.07% compared to the congress target.

Livestock farming is maintained and developed, especially the deer herd has increased rapidly, to date, there are nearly 1,300, an increase of 650 compared to 2015. Continue to form groups and teams for aquaculture and fishing, promoting community spirit in aquaculture. Quynh Bang is also the commune with the largest area and output of intensive shrimp farming in the district. The production value in 2020 of aquaculture and fishing is estimated at 117.6 billion VND, an increase of 13.5% compared to the congress target.

Services and sea tourism have developed strongly, establishments have invested in building restaurants, motels, and hotels after being allocated land, gradually attracting more tourists to visit and swim in the sea. The number of workers participating in the service has increased rapidly, estimated at 30% of the total number of employed workers.

Culture and society have many positive changes, the rate of cultural villages reached 81.3%, cultural families reached 86%. Secondary schools were recognized as meeting national standards. In the period of 2016 - 2020, the commune continued to lead and direct the improvement of criteria for building new rural areas with a total budget mobilized from resources estimated at nearly 50 billion VND.

In the Party building work, timely propaganda orientation and resolution of issues of concern to cadres, party members and people. In general, cadres and party members have a firm ideological stance, always believe in the leadership of the Party, the administration of the government, the role of party members in activities and work is enhanced. During the term, the organization admitted 39 new party members, achieving the congress target.

Promoting the achieved results, in the new term, Quynh Bang commune focuses on strengthening the Party building and a strong political system, operating effectively and efficiently. Continuing to mobilize resources, promoting investment attraction, promoting and effectively exploiting the potentials and advantages of the locality, in order to improve the quality of the criteria for building new rural areas.

Accelerate socio-economic development, improve people's lives, and effectively implement poverty reduction; Promote the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life". Maintain political security, order, and social safety, strive to build Quynh Bang commune to develop comprehensively and achieve advanced NTM by 2025.

Comrade Ho Dinh Quynh - Secretary of the Commune Party Committee was re-elected as Secretary of the Quynh Bang Commune Party Committee for the term 2020 - 2025.
