Thanh Long Commune Party Congress (Thanh Chuong) term 2020 - 2025
(Baonghean.vn) - On May 13, Thanh Long Commune Party Committee (Thanh Chuong) held the Congress for the 2020-2025 term with the participation of 131 delegates representing 261 party members in the entire Party Committee.

During the past term, the Thanh Long Commune Party Committee focused on leading cadres and people to complete and exceed the targets set out in the resolution. The average economic growth rate in the period of 2015 - 2020 was 8.5%, the average income per capita increased from 21 million VND/year to nearly 40 million VND/year; the structure shifted in the right direction, gradually reducing the proportion of agriculture.
During the term, 1 school was built to meet national standards, increasing the number of schools to 100%, all schools were classified as excellent. The latest change in cultural and sports activities is the movement of physical training among the people. Health care, population and family planning work received synchronous attention, 93% of people participated in health insurance. Vocational training and job creation work achieved remarkable results: in 2015, the poverty rate was 19.29%, now it is only 2.19%.
In addition to economic and social development, Thanh Long Commune Party Committee has also focused on building the Party and the political system. It has done a good job in training cadres, currently 20/22 civil servants working in the commune have university degrees, and has done a good job in merging and perfecting the team of village cadres.

In the 2020 - 2025 term, Thanh Long Commune Party Committee strives to achieve an average economic growth rate of 9.5 - 10% in the 2020 - 2025 period, an average income per capita of 70 - 75 million VND/year, and a poverty rate of 2%. Schools maintain the title of National Standard, striving for 2 schools to meet Level II standards. Party organizations, authorities, and mass organizations have completed their tasks well or better. In particular, based on the achieved results, the Congress also expressed its determination to invest and strive for the commune to meet the New Rural Standards in 2020, the first year of implementing the Congress resolution.
The congress voted to elect the new Executive Committee and delegates to attend the Thanh Chuong District Party Congress./.
