The Party Committee of the Business Bloc received the Second Class Labor Medal

(Baonghean.vn) – On the morning of October 1, in Vinh City, the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee held a ceremony to celebrate its 20th anniversary (October 3, 1996 -2016) and received the Second Class Labor Medal.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Le Xuan Dai - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Cao Thi Hien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Hong Vinh - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies; Vo Viet Thanh - Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee; former provincial leaders; leaders of departments, branches, localities in the province and Ha Tinh province.

On October 3, 1996, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee issued Decision No. 223/QD-TU on the establishment of Nghe An State-owned Enterprises Party Committee, on the basis of receiving 108 grassroots party organizations under the Provincial Party Committee, Vinh City Party Committee, and Party Committees of provincial-level agencies with 4,600 party members.

From 2000 to 2010, State-owned enterprises entered into equitization according to the policy of the Party and the State; in order for the leadership and direction of the Party Committee to be suitable for the types of enterprises in the process of innovation, on November 14, 2001, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee issued Decision No. 240 "Renaming the Party Committee of State-owned Enterprises of Nghe An to the Party Committee of Nghe An Enterprises".

Looking back over 20 years, with the determination, solidarity, dynamism and creativity of cadres, party members and workers throughout the Party, most businesses have maintained stability and growth.

Annually, the growth rate reaches 12-13%, budget contribution increases by 15-16% and accounts for 20-25% of the province's total revenue, workers' income increases by 16-18%. Enterprises in the Party Committee of the bloc regularly pay attention to and take the lead in contributing to social security activities, repaying gratitude, and taking care of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers...

The targets and plans for political tasks and Party building work set out annually and in each term of the Party Committee have all been achieved and exceeded. Up to now, the entire Party Committee has 131 subordinate grassroots party organizations and 5,150 party members.

Regarding the direction and tasks in the coming time, speaking at the ceremony, comrade Thai Khac Thu - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee affirmed: The Party Committee regularly thoroughly grasps the viewpoints and development guidelines of the Party and State, deploys and applies them flexibly and creatively into practice; implements the motto: "Towards enterprises, accompanying enterprises".

In addition, the unit pays attention to educating and training the workforce in both quantity and quality; building a growing team of businessmen and business leaders under the Party Committee, bearing the identity of Nghe An; focusing on implementing the goal: "Building a clean and strong Party in terms of politics, ideology, organization and ethics"; continuing to promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and style...

At the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong praised and congratulated the achievements of the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee over the past 20 years.

Currently, the province is making constant efforts to build Nghe An into a prosperous province in the Northern region; an economic, cultural and social center of the North Central region. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee continue to unite, strive, be proactive and creative to better complete the assigned tasks.

In addition, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The Party Committee needs to proactively advise the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee to issue mechanisms and policies to support and promote business development and integration into the regional and world economies in the spirit of Resolution 35 of the Government on supporting and developing businesses until 2020.

At the ceremony, authorized by the President, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee; presented a banner of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province with the content: "Nghe An Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee 20 years of innovation, integration and development (1996-2016)".
