Promoting solidarity, over the past 5 years, the Party Committee and people of Thanh Huong commune have achieved many encouraging results in many fields. The economy has grown quite well. The economic growth rate reached 14.7%/year.

Average income per capita in 2019 was over 38 million VND/year. Estimated in 2020, it is 42 million VND/person/year. Mobilizing internal resources and promoting external resources to build infrastructure has been effectively promoted.

Cultural and social activities are maintained and promoted. The rate of cultural families in 2019 reached nearly 90%. The poverty rate in 2019 was 2.46%, estimated to be 2.05% in 2020. Political security is stable, social order and safety are maintained. Party building work is given attention. Internal unity, the great solidarity of the people is strengthened.

The Congress set the following goals for the 2020-2025 term: Total production value reaches 478.8 billion VND. Average economic growth rate in the 2020-2025 period reaches 11.5%. Average income per capita reaches 75-80 million VND/year. Maintain the National Standard title in 3 schools. Reduce the poverty rate at the end of the term to 1.5%. Commune meets NTM standards at the end of the term.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Trinh Van Nha - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that the Party Committee and people of Thanh Huong commune have achieved in the past term; at the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, Thanh Huong commune needs to continue to thoroughly grasp the viewpoint that economic development is the key task.
