Investing 450 billion VND to build cultural facilities for workers in the Southeast Economic Zone

On the morning of July 12, under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Provincial Party Committee met with the Fatherland Front and mass organizations.

In addition, focus on building a Project to implement Resolution 18 of the 6th Central Committee (12th term) at the unit; participate in performing well the assigned tasks at the meeting between the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the heads of Party committees and authorities of wards, communes and towns in the province; mobilize union members to participate in forest fire prevention; propagate people not to listen to the incitement of bad elements...

At the conference, comrade Le Thi Tam - President of the Provincial Women's Union expressed concern about the phenomenon of women illegally migrating and marrying foreigners in Ky Son and Tuong Duong districts. "The Women's Union builds intergenerational clubs, trains grassroots cadres, and coordinates with the Border Guard to help families in difficulty."

"However, there are few officials doing propaganda work, the level of grassroots officials is still limited, so the situation of illegal female migration is very complicated. The Association hopes that the Provincial Party Standing Committee and labor management agencies in the area will have measures to manage labor," said Ms. Tam.

Mr. Nguyen Ky Son - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation said that there is still a prominent issue that needs to be resolved immediately, which is the need for housing for workers. Industrial zones do not have housing, kindergartens, or playgrounds.

According to a survey by the Labor Federation, working conditions in enterprises are very difficult, enterprises do not pay attention to labor safety, enterprises owe social insurance; employment issues, wages paid by shift for workers still have many shortcomings...

Commenting on this issue, the Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation said: After surveying the housing needs of workers, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has decided on the Project to build a Cultural Institution for workers in the Southeast Economic Zone in Nghe An with an investment of 450 billion VND. The project will be implemented when the Provincial People's Committee allocates land.

Concluding the Conference, Standing Deputy Secretary Nguyen Xuan Son acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations in the second quarter of 2018.

Deploying tasks in the second quarter of 2018, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized: The Fatherland Front and mass organizations need to do a good job of propagating the Party and State's policies to union members; pay attention to the quality of activities at the grassroots level and the quality of union members.

In the immediate future, it is necessary to carry out the study and propaganda of Resolution 7 of the Central Committee (12th term) in conjunction with the preliminary review of the implementation of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee and Directive 05.
