'To make the press a trusted forum for the people'

I am very pleased to introduce myself as a candidate for the Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term in Hoang Mai town. This is an opportunity for me to directly meet and demonstrate my promise to voters; I pledge to do my best to fulfill my assigned tasks, contributing to the construction and socio-economic development of the province in general and Hoang Mai town in particular.

If I am elected by voters as a representative of the Provincial People's Council this time, I will carry out my personal action plan with the following key tasks:

First: Promote your own abilities, strengths and work experience to perform well the role of a people's representative; spend more time meeting, interacting and understanding the real life of voters and people. Listen and synthesize the opinions, feedback and recommendations of voters and people to propose to all levels, sectors, the Fatherland Front and organizations about the requirements that voters expect in all areas of social life. Faithfully reflect the legitimate aspirations of the people of Hoang Mai on the mass media as well as through monitoring and questioning activities at People's Council meetings.

Second: Continuously cultivate one's own morality, resolutely fight against corruption, waste, bureaucracy, arrogance, authoritarianism and other illegal acts. Well implement the role of the press in propaganda work, truly be the voice of the Party, a trusted forum for the people. Represent and protect the legitimate, legal and lawful rights and interests of the people and the press, in order to strengthen social consensus; well perform the role of the press in monitoring and social criticism.

Third: To be worthy of being a People's Council delegate, a representative of the people of Hoang Mai, I will try to work harder and arrange my work scientifically to fully participate in the People's Council meetings and regularly meet with voters to discuss with local authorities and sectors clearly the issues that voters have opinions on.

Fourth: Regularly take care of building and developing a team of journalists who are loyal and devoted to the people, promoting the social responsibility and civic duty of journalists. How can the press regularly propagate and reflect pressing issues that the people are concerned about, which is truly an extension of the Party.

Hoang Mai town is a young urban area with many difficulties ahead. Therefore, in this term, I and the candidates for the Provincial People's Council in the town continue to propose and recommend that superiors pay attention with new policies and mechanisms, increase resources and speed up comprehensive investment development, contributing to building Hoang Mai town into a dynamic, modern, civilized, and beautiful urban area.
