'Easy first, difficult later', creative approach in commune 30a

(Baonghean.vn) - Thanks to the creative new rural approach, Tam Thai commune, Tuong Duong, a commune in category 30a, has basically completed the new rural criteria and is striving to reach the finish line by the end of this year.

Na Tong is one of the villages that effectively implements the new rural criteria. Since the decision to implement the program, the Party cell and the village management board have found many good and creative ways to mobilize and attract the masses to participate in building the new rural areas. With the motto "people do, people benefit", after being mobilized by commune and village cadres, many households actively donated land, trees, labor and money to build roads. Thanks to that, it has created a driving force as a foundation for implementing more difficult criteria, creating trust and support among the people. These days, the people of Na Tong village are completing the domestic water project and building the fence of the community cultural house, the enthusiastic atmosphere is clearly visible on the faces of each person in the village.

To achieve the goal of becoming a new rural commune, the Tam Thai commune Party Committee has assigned specific tasks to each cadre and party member who stays close to the village and participates in directing the implementation of each criterion. The "core" cadres have done a good job of mobilizing people to actively develop the economy, mobilizing external resources to support Tam Thai in implementing difficult criteria such as transportation, cultural criteria... Thanks to that, although the commune is 30a poor, Tam Thai has mobilized nearly 57 billion VND from budget sources, support from businesses and contributions from the people to invest in renovating civil works, repairing schools, building bridges, canals in the fields... After many efforts, Tam Thai has now achieved 19/19 criteria.

Completing the criteria creates the foundation to build Tam Thai into a comprehensively developed commune 30a in the Western region.”

According to Secretary Hung, the effective way of Tam Thai is also due to the enthusiastic, creative participation of Party committees at all levels and especially the high consensus among the people. Taking advantage of the terrain and abundant water resources, the targets for agricultural and rural production are prioritized for implementation. Starting from shifting agricultural production towards commodities, applying science and technology in converting the structure of crops and livestock such as: growing safe vegetables in Na Tong village, growing red bananas or raising livestock with biological bedding, promoting cage fish farming on the water surface of Khe Bo hydroelectric reservoir... thanks to that, people have mastered the way of doing household economy with the application of scientific and technical advances in selecting plant and animal breeds, processing agricultural products. The average income per capita has increased rapidly, people's lives have improved a lot.
