'Proposing important issues for socio-economic development'

(Baonghean) - Action program of Mr. Dang Thanh Tung - Secretary of Anh Son District Party Committee; candidate for Provincial People's Council delegate for the 2016 - 2021 term in constituency No. 19, Anh Son district.

I am very pleased to be nominated as a candidate for the Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term and am aware that it is a great honor, but also a heavy responsibility. Faced with the requirements and tasks of local and national development in the new era and the aspirations of voters, I am required to make every effort to fulfill my duties as a people's representative.

I have just been assigned by the Provincial Party Standing Committee to work in Anh Son as Secretary of the District Party Committee. I feel proud to be able to join the vibrant life of a countryside that is on the path of renewal.

The general objective of the 20th Party Congress of Anh Son district for the 2015-2020 term has been determined: Building a strong political system, developing the socio-economy, maintaining national defense and security; improving the material and spiritual life of the people. The Party is united, the people are in consensus, bringing Anh Son to comprehensive development to become a well-off district of the province. To increase people's income and create a breakthrough in socio-economic development, together with the collective Party Committee of the district, I will focus on the following issues:

First: Focus on attracting investment projects, mobilizing maximum resources, prioritizing industrial development, services and commodity production in the agricultural sector.

Second: Promote economic restructuring, form specialized raw material growing areas to serve the processing industry towards export; at the same time, promote the advantages of suitable land and soil to convert to crops with high economic value.

Third: Continue to build infrastructure, prioritizing key economic zones and disadvantaged areas. Develop the economy in conjunction with environmental protection, and take good care of social security issues. Proactively grasp and resolve security and order situations.

If elected by voters as a People's Council delegate, I will always strive to fulfill the functions and duties of a people's representative with the following action program:

Firstly: Regularly and closely contact the people, effectively implement voter contact programs, thereby communicating, propagating, explaining, and mobilizing people to implement the Party's policies and guidelines and the State's laws and policies; at the same time, listen to opinions, grasp the people's thoughts and aspirations, and honestly reflect them to the Provincial People's Council and central and local authorities.

Second: From my practical experience and work process, I will actively participate in researching and discussing important socio-economic issues of the province, in order to concretize the socio-economic development of the district; fully exercise the powers and duties of a People's Council delegate. As a representative of the will and aspirations of the people, I will focus on solving urgent issues of concern to voters; actively research and propose to the Provincial People's Council to decide on important socio-economic issues to serve the general development requirements of the province.

Third: As the district leader, I will work with the district Party Committee to focus on directing and concretizing the effective implementation of the goals and targets of the Resolution of the 20th District Party Congress for the 2015-2020 term; mobilize resources, gradually build infrastructure to develop the economy, ensure social security, and gradually improve the material and spiritual life of the people.
