At 4:43 p.m. today, September 19, the Standing Office of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of Nghe An province received Notice No. 02 dated September 19 from Za Hung Joint Stock Company announcing the operation and regulation of Nhan Hac Hydropower Reservoir (Que Phong).

To ensure the safe operation and regulation of water at Nhan Hac Hydropower Reservoir in accordance with the procedures approved by the Provincial People's Committee and in accordance with the hydrological situation at the project, Za Hung Hydropower Joint Stock Company plans to operate and regulate Nhan Hac Hydropower Reservoir as follows:
Estimated time of regulation operation:When the water level of Nhan Hac A hydropower reservoir reaches 312m and is at risk of continuing to increase. Expected at 9:00 p.m. on September 19, 2024.
Expected discharge:From 500 m3/s to 1,200 m3/s and can change depending on the water flow to the lake.
Discharge end time:Until the effects of this heavy rain pass.
The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense informs: People's Committees of Que Phong and Quy Chau districts, Heads of provincial Departments, branches and sectors.
