Vinh University ranked 9th nationwide in international scientific research publications

2017 is the year that Vinh University continues to implement the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress. This is also the first year to implement Resolution No. 04-NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee on strengthening Party building and rectification; preventing and repelling the degradation of political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party; continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and lifestyle, and implementing the emulation movement "Innovation and creativity in teaching and learning".

During this school year, Vinh University has implemented 2-phase training for students of the 57th course; implemented CDIO approach training for students of the 58th course; continued to implement the Project to build and develop a regular university training program, approaching CDIO in the period 2016 - 2020.

Scientific research activities have achieved many encouraging results, including 7 State-level scientific and technological tasks; 25 ministerial-level scientific and technological tasks; 1 provincial-level scientific and technological task. Student scientific research activities in 2017 were also promoted with 56 topics. International cooperation activities achieved many positive results.

The Party Committee and the Party Committee Standing Committee resolutely directed the implementation of the Vinh University Restructuring Project. Established 4 institutes on the basis of merging 6 faculties. Established the Center for Research and Creative Entrepreneurship...

In 2017, the entire Party Committee admitted 393 new Party members, officially transferred 105 to probationary Party members, opened 2 training classes for Party admission candidates for 1,092 people... The school Party Committee also disciplined 3 Party members by reprimand.

At the conference, comrade Dinh Xuan Khoa - Party Secretary, Principal of the school deployed the tasks for 2018. Accordingly, the staff, party members and students of Vinh University are determined to successfully complete the assigned political tasks, becoming a national key school, a member of the ASEAN University Network, contributing significantly to making Nghe An province become the center of education and training, science and technology of the North Central region and the whole country.

On this occasion, the Party Committee of Vinh University awarded certificates of merit to 6 typical clean and strong party organizations in 2017 and to 13 party members who excellently completed their tasks in 2017.
