4 female students in Nghia Dan drowned while swimming in the dam
(Baonghean.vn) - The heartbreaking incident just happened this afternoon in Nghia Loc commune, Nghia Dan district. The victims were 4 female students studying at Nghia Loc Secondary School.
Speaking with Nghe An Newspaper on the afternoon of April 25, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung - Head of the Department of Education and Training of Nghia Dan district accurately verified the above heartbreaking incident.
He also said that the families, schools and the Department of Education and Training of the four unfortunate students have coordinated to arrange the funeral for them. In addition, the Department also directed the school to do a good job of ideological work to calm the anxiety of the students and parents of the whole school.
Previously, through initial understanding, around early afternoon this morning, a group of female students went down to Khe Giang dam in Tan Huu hamlet, Nghia Loc commune to cool off. While bathing, one student may have slipped into deep water and the remaining students tried to struggle to save their friend.
However, only 2 of them escaped, the remaining 4 were killed.drowningdied. The four students above were all students of class 8D - Nghia Loc Secondary School, residing in Tan Lap and Thinh Hong hamlets, Nghia Loc commune.

Immediately after the incident, local authorities coordinated to search for the children’s bodies. It is known that this dam is located about 3km away from the school and many people still come here every day to enjoy the cool breeze.
