Although the locality has the largest fleet of boats participating in production on the East Sea in the province, it is quite interesting that Quynh Phuong ward only has more than 2km of coastline running through the area, while Quynh Phuong's "neighbor" Quynh Lap has the longest coastline in Nghe An with about 12km.
In proportion to the large number of boats in Quynh Phuong is the annual seafood catch of this locality. Accordingly, in 2017, the catch of Quynh Phuong fishermen reached 15,551 tons, and in the first 6 months of 2018, the output reached nearly 10 tons with a value of 253.3 billion VND, an increase of 12% over the same period in 2017.
